Fast & Feast
Privacy
Fast & Feast collects as little as it can, and this page says exactly what that is in plain language. If anything here is unclear, write to us and ask.

What we collect
If you read the site and nothing else, we collect nothing about you personally.
If you sign up for launch news, we store your email address and the date you gave it. Not your name, not your location, not your IP address — the address and the date, and nothing more.
If you write to us through the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you send, so we can read it and reply.
Why we collect it
Your email address is used to tell you when the site launches and to send fasting recipes and the day’s rule, if you asked for them. Your message is used to answer you.
That is all either one is used for.
We never sell or share it
Your address is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to advertisers. It is not shared with other organisations, parishes or ministries. There is no exception to this that we are quietly not mentioning.
The only companies that can technically see the data are the ones that run the site for us: Vercel, which hosts it, and Neon, which hosts the database. They store it on our behalf and may not use it for anything of their own.
Visitor statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, so we can tell whether people are finding the site. It records things like which pages were viewed, which site linked here, the country, and whether the visitor was on a phone or a computer.
It sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to any other website. We cannot tell who you are from it, and neither can anyone else.
Getting off the list, or removed entirely
Write to hello@fastandfeast.org and ask, and we will take your address off the list and delete it. There is no automated unsubscribe page yet, because we have not sent a single email to anybody — when the first one goes out it will carry an unsubscribe link.
The same applies to anything else: ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you, ask us to delete it and we will.
Children
The site is meant for adults and families cooking together. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us an address, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, this page changes first. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
